Student Government

Reporter: Mary Kay Fineham .

This year the student government has decided to purchase new letters for the stage curtain, new records for the phonograph, and sponsor various during the year.

.The student g a money-making organization. Its purpose is #ne of 'Service to the school. One of the first services was the donation of four dozen large pencils to the second grade.

The organization is under the direction of Principal D. C..iLink.

The F.F.A. has a baby chick

prpjigt consising of 100 chickens pared for by the F.F.A. members. This is the second year on this project and the members have valuable experience while caring for and feeding the chickens.

The organization is making a magazine rack for the library. Two basketball goals have been built for the out-doors court. These jobs, in addition to being a help, to the school, furnish experience in Qse of tools in the workshop.

There are 14 freshmen looking forward to initiation into F.F.A. as Green Hands. <■"'
