The author of “My Rappahannock Story Book” was bora at “Mont Medi,” ancestral home of her people tucked away in F. T. "Valley. “Dolly” Hite, as she is known to her many friends, spent her childhood there, riding and playing with her five brothers. There she dveloped a love for her own spot of earth that has influenced her Whole life—and which has made this book possible.
The occasion of the publication of this, the first large volume on Rappahannock, will be of immense interest, not.only to those of the county, but to all Virginians as well.
