The exact dates and identity of ‘‘The Call” have not been located. County Clerk J. M. Settle found a record of some legal proceedings published in “The Call,” and a belief has been expressed that perhaps this paper was printed outside the county and .brought irt after printing.
“The Blue Ridge Guide” had two publishers. Its original" one was the late W. B. Settle, brother of the late Judge George W. (See PRINTER SEES, page 5.).
