The Woman's Sofiety of C&ria^ tian Service met Monday night*
in the Methodist ^hurrih ih Observance of tiie Week of Prayer* Rev. Norman J. Flythe brought a timely message on the subject and stressed the far-reaching results of earnest and sincere prayer. '
A quilting party was held by the members of the WSCS of Washington Methodist church on Monday evening at the home t£ Mrs. Jessie -Rowzie. The members • worked on two quilts, which when completed will be sent to the Methodist Home for Aged, Richmond.
Eighteen members of the ^society were present and two visitors: Miss Lottie Brown, and'Mrs. Albert Buft, of Boston, England, who is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Lester Burke.
