Junior CI&m Presents - Assembly Program
On Friday, November 4, the junior English class, directed hr Mrs. Hazel P. Corbin, presented an assembly program to the high school and the visitors, the Spurryville F.P.A. boys.
The program was opened when everyone sang “Seeing Nellie Home,”, followed by the devotional and salute to the flag.
All IX juniors took part in a play entitled “Oh, Teacher.” After the play Edwin and Charles Scroggins played three selections on their guitars and the junior girls sang “Tennessee Border.” The program closed with everyone singing “All Through the Night.”

The Washington F.F.A. chapter “held its second meetng Thursday, November 3, in the agricultural classroom. The boys have been busy during the last few weeks selling brooms in order to raise money for the chapter.
The following boys were elect-’ ed chairmen for the following committees to carry out the year's program: supervised farming, Garfield Burke; co-operative activities, Robert Harrison; community service, Jack Smith; leadership activities, Irvin Corbin; earningssavings, Edwin Scroggins, conduct • of meetings, Georgs Lawrence; scholarship, John Walker; and recreation, Leland Walter. '
