qere are no New Years resolutions for the paper to make. The f paper has stated, and will •bide by it, that its share of responsibilities will be undertaken. As for editoriarpolicies: they vary with conditions. If a situation is delicate and controversial, and the paper can see no way that active participation will be of any value, then the subject is dead as far as the paper is concerned. We don’t back down from a fight; we just see no reason to poke our noses into a fight that is of no • concern to the county’s good.
The paper feels that it would rather be called on to help—any way it can—with projects for the good of the county by organizations' working in the county.
Editorially, the paper wishes the old printer had not used the exact words he did. “Mush bums if you don’t stir it.” Sometimes you can get burned stirring, too.
