The hostess for F. T. Valley No. 2 this month was Mrs. Milton Sisk. Group singing started meeting with good spirit Demonstration was flowers for the Home Grounds.
Woodville HD. met in the home of Mrs. R. M. Johnson. Miss Nellie Johnson and Miss Ruth Clark agreed to be clothing leaders. The parsonage home grounds as landscaped by Albert Beecher, Horticulturist from VPI, were presented and plans mad? to begin the planting. This is 1 community project for this group. Samples of slip covers were shown and measuring for slip covers demonstrate ed. The regular demonstration was Flowers for the Home Grounds.
A team (4-H) from Boyce played a girls’ 4-H team at Sperryville on Thursday. The score at the end of the hard fought game was 15-15. Girls playing on Rappahannock team were: Betty Rutherford, Captain; Lelia Gentry, Betty Johnson, Martha Smoot, Faye Blade, Mary J, Atkins, and Janie Nicholas.
