The 4-H Supper Committee met to make plans for 4.H County Council Supper to be held March IS. Members helping with planning were: Mrs. Prank Cary, Lelia Gentry, and Betty Rutherford.
A slip cover clinic was held Saturday -at the home of Mrs. Barbara Gentry. The measuring and cutting began early in the day. Mrs. OB. Mrs. T. C. Lea, chairman of Rappahannock County Chapter, reports that the total amount raised in the March of Dimes Campaign was $950.62. Of this amount, $43.06 was raised at a benefit dance given at Rappahannock County High School by Mrs. B. R. Cox, Miss Ruth Stevens and R. L. Brown.
The amounts contributed by each •district in the county and the chairmen are as follows: Hampton District, $268.65; Wakefield District, $187.84-Chairment Miss Ruth Stevens and Mrs. Paul Miller; Piedmont District, $151.12-chairmen, Mrs. Lee Thornton and Mrs. Milton Gore; Stonewall District, $125. 82-chairman, Mrs. C. B. Johnson; Jackson District, $121.60-Chairman, Mrs. A. C. Latham Sr.; Hawthorne District, $52.50-chairman, Mrs. Dike Quaintance.
