Mrs. B. M Eujbanif was called to her home in Roanoke on Friday, because of *he sudden illness of her husband. Mrs. Eubank was recuperating in the home of” her sister, Mrs. J. Frank Jones of Delatnore, from a result of a sprained back. Latest report is that both Mr. and Mrs. Eubank are much better.

Mrs. John R. DeBergh spent Sunday in Charlottesville with her parents,, Col. and Mrs, E. W. Raley.

Mrs. George H. Davis Jr. and Mrs. B. R. Cox motored to Hancock, Md., Saturday for B.R. Cox, who is spending sometime in his home at Washington. "— -,:7 -

Mr. and Mrs. Garence Gough and daughter, Carolefeta, attended the funeral of Mrs. Gough’s aunt, Mrs. J. B. Hopkins in Washington, D. C.» on Friday. '***; D. E. Walker of Fork Union Military Academy was a week-end guest of his grandmother and mother, Mrs. John Clark and Mrs. Matilda Walker.
