Red Cross Workers Named

For Rappahannock County

Mrs. Janie Jarvis, Red Cross Fund chairman for Rappahannock county, announces the following workers for the county:

Wakefield District: Mrs. G. W. Smith, Flint Hill, Chairman.

Hampton District: Mrs. F. Clyde Baggarly, Washington, chairman; Co-workers, Mrs. D. D. Miller, Mrs. C. G. Reid, Mrs. J. F. Jones, and Mrs, L. J. Turner.

Piedmont District: Mrs. Janie Jarvis, Sperryville, chairman; Coworkers are: Miss Louise Johnson, Mrs. Ruth Pillar, Mrs. Billie Brown Mrs. Hugh S. Atkins, Mrs. George Haw k i n s and Mrs, Randolph Devers.

Stonewall District: Mrs. Weldon Burke, Woodville, chairman for Woodville vicinity and Mrs. C. B. Johnson, chairman for Mt. Lebanon vicinity.

Jackson District: Mrs. A. C. Latham, Amissville, chairman.

Hawthorne District: Miss Miller, chairman for Slate Mills, vicinity and Miss Lynn Updike, chairman, Peola Mills vicinity.

Mrs. Ethel Dennis of Castleton is chairman of the colored sporkers and a list,of her co-workers will be announced next week.

Miss Louise Schwarts has consented to accept funds at Schwartz Store from each chairman* or coworker in behalf of Mrs. Jarvis. _

ALUMNI DINNER

C E. Johnson, Lasio Kilby, E. M. Jones and John R. DeBergh attended the dinner Friday at the Lord Culpeper Hotel given by VMI-VPI alumni. The feature of the evening was a movie . reminiscing the pawt Thanksgiving football game. No fatalities reported.
