James F. Smith, who is a patient in University Hospital for a checkup following! a two week’s illness at his home, is reported to be improving nicely. Mrs. Smith makes frequent visits to Charlottesville to be with him. Mrs. Holmes Hall spent the weekend in Richmond with Mrs. Frank Wood.
Mrs. O. V. Coffey, who was the guest of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Coffey last week has returned to her home in Massies Mill. On Friday Mrs. C E. Muterspaugh and Mrs. Marjorie Fetherson were guests in the Coffey home and on Sunday their guest was Mr. Coffey’s nephew, O. W. Coffey of Washington, D. C.
