Elder afid Mrs. J. Harvey Daily and their house guest, Mrs. Nellie Waddell were overnight guests" on Friday of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Durden at Bentonsville. Leaving Saturday morning to attend a union meeting at Grove Creek church. They returned to Bentonsville for regular appointments Saturday evening and Sunday morning. They spent Saturday night with Mr. and Mrs. John Gay. On Sunday afternoon Elder and Mrs. Daily attended services at Cedar Creek, returning to their home, late in the evening accompanied by Elder and Mrs. Harvey Smith, Mrs. Waddell, Mrs. Pearl Shutt and John Reed, who left early Monday morning for their home in Nashville, Tennessee.
Rev. David Menchhofer was a dinner guest on Sunday oT the Misses Hitt.
Mr. and JVfrs. Clyde Perry and son of Charlottesville were week-end guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sidney Perry at “Piedmont Farm.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Nichols, who have returned from their wedding trip, are staying in the home of Miss Louise Schwartz. Miss Schwartz also has as her guests this week her sister, Mrs. Clarence W. Ewing and her two daughters and son, Misses Ann and Sallie Ewing and Bill Ewing of Harrisonburg. Miss Louise Schwartz spent Sunday in Harrisonburg with her brother-in-law and sister.
Guests on Sunday of Mrs. S. G. Bruce were Mr. and Mrs. Bennie Bruce and Mrs. Bruce’s mother, Mrs. Luttrell, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bruce, Mr. and Mrs. Haywood Griffith of Front Royal.
