Miss Mary Slaughter of Front) Royal spent Sunday night and Monday with her aunt and unde, Mr. and Mrs. P. D. Dennis.

Rev. and Mrs. David Menchhofer and son left Monday for their vacation. They will visit Rev. Menchhofer’s parents, Prof, and Mrs. J. D. Menchhofer in East Lansing, Michigan and in the latter part of their vacation, Mrs. Menchhofer’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Beyer of Pattersonville, N. Y. They will return to their home on August 20.

Mrs. John Moore, a patient in the Warren Memorial hospital, is reported to be in satisfactory condition. However, she will remain in the hospital for several more days.

On Sunday, B. J. Wood, Buddy Moore and Walter Krause were guests of the scouts at camp for dinner. Returning with them to their •home after a week at camp were Buddy Moore, Johnnie Browning and Dudley Wood.

Mr. and Mrs. David Corbin and son, Richard spent several days last week with Mrs. Corbin’s parents at Cooper Hill.
