CITIZENS OF RAPPAHANNOCK
Virginians will be given an opportunity to get first-hand information about the United Nations from Mrs. Eleanor Roosevelt, wife of the late President Roosevelt, when she visits Richmond tomorrow.
It is my hoped that each organization in our community will take advantage of this opportunity and send representatives to the morning conference and to the evening public meeting.
It is set for Friday, September 25, in Richmond, Virginia. The morning conference is in the Ballroom of the Jefferson Hotel at 11 o’clock and the evening meeting is at the Mosque auditorium that evening at 8 o’clock.
11:00—Conference with representatives of civic organizations, civil bodies and ’special United Nations workers from all sections of Virginia. (An opportunity to find out where you fit in the UN “picture and the job to be done on the Community level to place emphasis on the United Nations).
