Saturday evening, -Mrs. G. W. Smith Jr. and Mrs. R. L. Massie entertained at bridge in the home of Mrs. R. L. Massie. Among the players were Mrs. W. L. Wake, Mrs. D. Lyle Miller, Mrs. B. M. Miller, Mrs. Dike Quaintanee, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. George Taylor, Mrs. Zula Sealock, Mrs. Carroll Menefee, Mrs. Charles Estes, Mrs. C. E. Johnson, Mrs. C. H. H. Branch, and Mrs. Irvin R. Kilby.

Refreshments were served at the conclusion of the playing. Mrs. Brown Miller was awarded the prize for high score; while Mrs. B. M. Miller won bingo; Mrs. Carroll Menefee, traveling and Mrs. George Taylor, consolation.

Mrs. Daniel Coughlin is spending sometime with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Jenkins.

Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. B W'ood on Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. I. H. Filing Jr. and their daughter, Eleanor and son, Hill of Mobile, Alabama and Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Filling Sr.

Rev. Morris Gather of Winchester visited Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson Monday evening.
