Blacksburg, Sept. 6, 1953^—Animal Husbandman at V.P.I. urges beef producers not to let the drough force them out of business. There may be ways to carry on, and here are some suggestions from them.
First, don’t sell on a glutted market; or at best, sell only culls that won’t respond to feed. Hold your better market animals until the fall runs are over. Second, supplement the roughage you have with grain, since grain is a better buy than roughage. VPI re
