' ’ The foiest fire control organisation of Rappahannock County has been strengthened by the recent appointment of Robert G. Leonard Jr., Front Royal, Virginia, as Local Forest Warden. Mr. Leonard will work under the supervision of Raymond M. Johnson, : Chief Forest Warden of Rappahannock County in fire control work. Mr. Leonard will be fujrnished with a complete set Of forest fire fighting tools by the, Virginia Forest Service. MirLeonard will be given a commission by Governor Stanley after ' which he will be sworn in before the County Clerk and will joijn the large force of public spirited
men throughout the State of Virginia who help tb control forest fires. Contrary to public notions, forest wardens are not salaried employees of the State They art men who are interested in conservation of timber and helping Keep Virginia Green.
