Owen Sealock’s Shooting Match at Chester Gap last. Thursday night was a huge success A very large crowd attended despite the unusually cold weather. The gun of Marshall Mahoney was really “hot.” He himself won five chickens, a goose, a pig and a turkey while four more, chickens fell to others competing with his shoot!n’ iron. Looks like Owen will have to make some special arrangement for Marshall and his gun at his next match.
Mrs. M. A. Greeley, accompanied by Mrs. A. B. Honts of Front Royal, spent several days shopping and visiting in Washington, D. C. last week.
Wonder where all the Rabbits have gone to? Hunters, the past month, have reported seeing very few of them up here on the mountain where in years past they have been most plentifuL
