Under Leadership Of Claude Cook
Much work is being [ done on the Lovingston Methodist Church under the able leadership of the Rev. M. C. Cook, who came to the Nelson Charge in .June. Mr. Cook’s geniality, sincerity ancj spirituality have made friends for him throughout the county.
Last year the church was redecorated and recently the floor has been sanded and refinished. At the present time the building is being rewired. Mr. Cook and several of the members of the church are building Sunday school rooms. The Central Virginia Electric Co-operative has given electric heaters for these rooms.
Since the Cooks ‘ arrived, the parsonage has been dedicated by the district superintendent, the Rev. J. Aubrey Hughes.
