Chief J. H. Carwile of the local Navy Recruiting station has announced the following recent enlistments : George Booten Jenkins of Washington. Charles Kenner Berry of Madison, Everett Phillips Kilby, Jr., William Henry Bowler and David Ashby Nibblins Jr., all of Culppeer.
TTiey will undergo their recruit training of nine weeks, at the U. S. Naval Training Station, Bainbridge, Maryland. After completion of their training period they will be given 14 days leave.
The recruiting station is located at the, Port Office Building in Culpeper.
