‘ Funeral services for Mrs. Ellas Venie, who died January 1, 1955, in the home of her daughter, Mrs., Eva Summons, of Washington, were held Monday, January 3, in the Promise Land Baptist Church with the Rev. Oscar Jacksdn of* _ ficiating. Mrs. C, P. Harris sang “Well Done.” > . ; v * Interment was in the family cemetery. Pallbearers were, her , grandsons, Haywood, Clarence, Jack and Raymond Poles, John, Howard and Roger Summons and , Lawrence Freeman. . ... She is survived by four’daughters, 17 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren, 1 sister, 1 brother aind many nieces and nephtws.
