Hold First Meeting
The Board of Directors of the Rappahannock Countyj Farm Bureau held its first meeting Mon* day night, April 18th in the county court house. \ .
It was decided by the Directors to hold quarterly meetings of the membership and quarterly Board meetings during the month previous to the membership meeting., The Board approved the Blue Cross Hospitalization and Blue Shield Surgical Plan as explained by W. H. Legan II of Winchester, the field representative of the organization. Farm Bureau mem* hers will be eligible for group Insurance at a considerable saving. Raymond W. Curtis, insurance agent of the Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance Company of Culpeper, was approved as our agent for writing insurance with our company for Farm Bureau members.
H. S. Barksdale of Flint Hill was appointed program chairman and Ned Jones of Washington was appointed publicity chairman.
