Mrs. Pfrrle R. Coffey and her father, W. N. Rector had as their guests from Tuesday to Thursday. Mrs. May Goodman of Richmond her son and daughter-in-law, Maj. and Mrs. S. W. Goodman, Jr., of Hampton. While they were here Mrs. Coffey and her guests visited Mr. and Mrs. Lvle Rector in Flint Hill, also relatives' in Fauquier County and Mrs. Lelia Brown near town.
Mr. ind Mrs. R. E. Wood went to Charlottesville on Thursday With Mr. and.Mrs. S. R. Shackleford and son, Henry Shackleford to attend the funeral services of Mr. Shackleford’s sister, Mrs. George Macon, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs, Cecil East. Funeral services were held at the Cruiont Grace Episcopal Church.
Elder and Mrs. J. Harvey Daily were in Hagerstown on Monday to visit George Dicks, ' who remains ill at his home there.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schaefer and their daughters, Edna Yates and Susan Schaefer were supper guests on Sunday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bruce.
Mr. and Mrs.. James Corbett ' of Washington. D. C. accompanied their aunt, Mrs. Mary Clater home on Saturday and were her week-end guests. Mrs. Clater has spent the winter with her sons in Warrenton and Calverton. ;
