Mrs. Pauline Bruce entertained ' Washington H. D. Tuesday ;! evening. Mrs. Jessie Rowzie was jj appointed radio representative. Mrs. Gilbert Updike is chairman of writing a history of the club. Six ladies plan to attend the district meeting in Arlington. The demonstration was on “Planning Foods for the Freezer.
Mrs. Luther Stuart was hostess • of the Amissvillc H. D. dub. The' group welcomed Mrs. Dorothy Hackley. Radio representative selected- were Mrs. Les Walters and Mrs. Dorothy Hackley. The food committee presented the following menu to be served at their luncheon on May 20th: Cream Chicken in Patti Shells, Green peas, deviled eggs, cole slaw, coffee or ice tea; fresh fruit cup and cookies.
The demonstration was on planning foods for the freezer and with Mrs. Stuart making a “Baked Alaskan." /
