county rescue tar got two or three miles up the road, before they had to take to the field. Following Charlie Estes in a Jeep pickup, the car Went several more miles. Back in the road, the car v moved forward slowly on a road bed that was described as “just like a river bed”. When it reached a stream it could not navigate, the Jeep towed it over. Coming to , a bridge washed out, the men left die car, and taking the stretcher, went on in the Jeep, They went to within 30 yards of the house, when they reached a second bridge washed out. They waded die' ‘stream and putting Mrs. Dickinson on the stretcher*, began their return trip, by Jeep and by foot alternately until they reached the rescue car. Coming back by the road that cuts off at Old Hollow the rescue car soon reached the main road and rushed the patient to the Warren Memorial Hospital. At'7:10 Mrs. Dickinson was on the x-ray table. •
