Williams Home Damaged By Fire Sunday Morning

Miller Williams had a narrow escape on Sunday morning about two o’clock when their house was found to be^on fire by Mr. and Mis. Samuel Mills, who were sleeping upstairs. The smoke was feeding up through the air vents and filled the room where they were. They escaped through the upstairs windows by climbing out on a porch roof. When Mr. Mills awakened those who were sleeping down stairs the fire was already lapping around their bedroom door. Mr. Williams was overcome by smoke before he could be removed through the bathroom door. The Front Royal fire company and ambulance responded to the distress call and succeeded in saving the house
