M'«. Frezell suggested htat . Mr. Merrill be asked again to clean up the alley: A further suggestion included that Mr. Merrill have it cleaned by next meeting of the council, January 10. Both of these were embodied in in a motion. Mrs. A. M. Vemer and Mrs. Milton Hawkins voted for the motion made by Mra. Frizzell. Mrs. J. W. Critzer and Miss Ruby Jenkins did not vote.

Since there was uncertainty, as when and if the I alky between - the L V. Merrill and Paul A. Walker property Would be available for treatment, another alky was needed to include on ' the Highway’s program for 1956. Miss Ruby Jenkins suggested that the alley at; the rtew post office be the one to be rteated this year; -a This suggestion was accepted by the council. .
