Virginia markets were steady up to last week while Baltimore and western markets were 25 to 50 cents lower under the influence of post-holiday marketings.
This usually means that Virginia prices will dip.
After this week, prices should begin a gradual rise totaling perhaps 75 cents to $1 a hundred by the end of the month, but not more than that.
