Leaves For Alaska
Army rri. Albert J. Sisk, Jr., of Sperryrille, Is scheduled to leave Fort Sam Houston, Texas, in January to taka part in “Exercise Moose Horn” in Alaska.
The three-week .exercise will test the ability of continental Army 'units to support combat troops in central Alaska, where winds reach 90 mph and temperatures drop to 96 .degrees below sero.
Pet Sisk is a clearing station attendant in the 37th Medical Battalion. He entered'the Army last June and completed basic training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.’
