Amissville Auxiliary

Set Banquet Date

For February 24th

The Auxiliary to the Amissville V.F.D., met Tuesday, January 10 at 8:00 p.m. Eleven members were present.

Plans were made for the annual Fireman’s Banquet, to be held on the twenty-fourth of Feb-1 ruary.

Mrs. Lloyd Bywaters was appointed chairman of a committee to get information about uniforms for Auxiliary members.

One in every 47 men, women end children in (Rappahannock County either has TB, is suspected of having it, or because of close contact with a case has a good chance of developing it.

43,910 persons in Virginia are under treatment or observation as tuberculosis cases, suspected cases or contacts Of cases, local health departments in the State reported on January 6. ‘the 43,910 being watched by health departments are an average of one person in every 88 men, women and children- in the entire State.

CLATTERBUCK—ATKINS ‘

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Atkins announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Elisabeth Atkins, to Lester Miller Clatterbuck, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Clatterbuck. The couple were married in Hagerstown, Md., December 28.
