Baldwin - Hackley
The wedding of Miss Betty Jane Hackley, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Charlie Hackley of Amissville, and Lloyd Davis Baldwin, son of Mrs. Gladys Baldwin and the late Elizah Baldwin of Pamplin, was solomized at the Amissville Baptist Church, Sunday May 26, at 3 .-00 o’clock. The Re\j. John Hodge pastor of the church officiated at the double ring ceremony.
Mrs. Harold Carder presided at the organ and Mrs. Floyd Hitt sang, “I Love You Truly”.
Mrs. Nora Nay of Washington D. C., sister of the bride was matron' of honor. She wore a light blue lace gown, and carried a bouquet of pink roses. Her other attendent was Miss Mary Sisk of Warrenton. She wore a gown of pink net apd carried a bouquet of white roses. The groom’s brother, Hunter-Baldwin of Pamplin, was best man. Ushers were Billy Mills and Carl Baldwin.
The bride was given away by her brother, Charles H. Hackley. She was attired in white lace over taffeta, and a lacd tip veil, and carried a white prayer book. Her bouquet was of pink rose?. After the ceremony the reception was held aj the home of her parents. After a short honeymoon to Pennsylvania, the couple returned to their home in Pamplin, where Mr. Baldwin is employed.
