Chris H. Whitman, Director ox Industrial Development, Virginia State Chamber of Commerce, wno conducted a question and answer program, emphasised the importance of advertising natural attractions.
He stated that from 16 to 20 new industries moved to Virginia each year and there were good reasons for each choice of loeatkn, also he said that a Chamber of Commerce was an authoritative source of information and would lend prestige to the County.
Mr. Whiteman offered assurance that the Virginia State Chamber-of Commerce would give assistance is» preparation of publkity.

Another, who also describee himself as a “newcomer,” suggested a golf course and an airport. “To bring people in,” he said “You must make things attractive and give them something to do.”
