The Sixth Annual Graduation Exercises of the Seventh Grade of the Sperryville Elementary School were held in the auditorium or. Thursday evening, May 31st.
After the Processional and the entrance of the students, “Faith ' of Our Fathers’; was sung by the entire group. Betty Lou Deal gave the Scripture Reading and a Prayer was offered by the Class.
The address of Welcome was extended by Raynor V. Snead, Jr., and immediately following, Shirley Brown presentejd Citiiens of Tomorrow. Willianii Settle called the roll of Five-Pointers, and the Record of Perfect Attendance was given by Roger; Lee Anderson. A. Message on All ground Pupils was delivered by Edna Yates Schaefer and Myrla Ann Updike gave facts about Our School and Us.
After a few well-chosen remarks from Supt. Q. p. Gasque, who de- . livered to this large class the certificates of promotion, H. B. Winfrey, Principal hf Rappahannoock County High School, made a short talk on timely topics.
The music wajs directed by Mrs. Paul Nichols with Mrs. Matilda Walker at the piano.
