Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Woodard of Warrenton were dinner guests Sunday of Miss Nellie Atkins and sister, Mrs. Ethel Tyner.
Wednesday Mr. and Mrs. John Gauder of Front Royal, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Brown of Culpeper, were supper guests of their aunt, Mrs. Betsy Harrell.
Miss Peggy Dodson of Arlington, was a week end guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roscoe Dodson.
Mr. and Mrs. Nick Penaranda and Mrs. P. L. Payne of Washington, D. C. spent the week end with Mrs. Penaranda’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stant Weaver. Johnnie Weaver returned with them for a week’s visit in the Penaranda home.
Mrs. Aubrey Blacklock of Catonsville, Md. left for her home Monday after, spending, a few days at “The Meadows” with Mr. and Mrs. Fields Benton. Mrs. Blacklock attended the commencement exercises at R. M. A* Front Royal where her son, Allen is a student. a Mrs. Tench Marye of Washington, D. C. was a guest Thursdayof Mrs. Bartow Brown.
J. W. Price Jr. was a supper guest Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller.
