Mrs. pien W. Martin, of Fredericksburg, Vs., a field representative, of the American National Bed Cross called a meeting on Tuesday of last week to elect a Chairman for Rappahannock Co. Mrs. Smith, the acting Chairman, not being able to serve any longer,. Bar. John Divers kindly consented to serve as temporary chairman.
Mrs. Smith reported that Mrs. Brown Miller had consented to serve as Board members from Hawthorne District and Mrs. James Settle from Wakefield.
Mrs. Magadalene Dealing and Mrs. Ethel Bailey from Hampton stated that the following had promised to serve with them:

Mrs. Martin explained the Blood program. $he also stressed the feet that we are behind on our 1958 Boll Call, and felt that many people had been overlooked and requested that we try our best to raise the difference of $342.00. $1,223.00 was the 1956 quota and $880.94 has been raised to date.
