Donkey Ball Tuesday
Night at Castleton
The Castleton Community Volunteer Fire Co. is scheduled to have a Donkey Ball Game on Tuesday night, June 19, at 8:00 p.m. in Ray Cannon’s Field near the Casteleton Post Office.
Exciting entertainment for all ages is promised. Refreshments will be sold on the grounds. Proceeds will go to the Fire Co.
Speakers Slated For
Farm Bureau Meet
Members of the Rappahannock Farm Bureau will be honored on Monday, June 18th at 8:00 p.m. by having as their guest Mrs. Harr} D. Havener, State Chairman of Women’s Association and Dr. A. B. Groves of the Winchester Research Laboratory.
Mtb. Havener will give a short talk on “Women in Farm Bureau” and Dr. Groves will show slides on his European trip.
All members, prosepctive members and their friends are invited.
Mrs. Joe Reid and her daughter Mrs. Dan Price of Front Royal, were dinner guests on Monday of Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Reid.
