Amissville went down in defeat for the fifth time this season as it succumed to Manassas by a tally of 13-3 at Amissville. This skirmish brought the losers to the cellar of the N. V. L. which they. * now share with The Plains.
The A’s were able to give the Eagles a good game till the fourth * „ /when errors and heavy Manassas -•» hitting began to sting. In that stanza the winners took a long lead to the tune of 6*1. Neither squad scored in the first three innings. Manassas continued its rampage in the eighth with five more counters after getting one more in the ' sixth.
