Elder and JMrs. Jl Harvey Daily were reient dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Fincham in Culpeper.
Mrs. Helen Bruce and Mrs. E. W. Gore were in Gainsville last week for a visit with Mrs. A. L. Smith. They were accompanied home by Mrs. Bruce’s grandson, Bruce Lee Smith .who was with them for several days. Mrs. Smith joined them at Barlow for the week end and her son returned’ home with her. .
Miss Dolly Smith who was in town for a week end visit with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Brown returned to Washington, D. C. Sunday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester L, Yates entertained at dinner on Sunday in honor of their youngest daughter Lois, who celbrated her fourth birthday. Those present were Elder and Mrs. J. Harvey Dailey, Elder and Mrs. C. W. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Brubaker of Luray and O. S. Carpenter of Brightwood.
Mr. and Mrs. E. M. JUdntaque of Alexanderia were at their cottage Hazzel Notch” on the Hazel River for a weekend stay. Also Mr. and Mrs. MauriceHenderson and son Beale of Alexandria spent Saturday at their home. Hickory Hill.
