If you can make a day-time dress in 2 hrs., 54 min., it would be the best investment of time. The child’s dress of the $$2.99 to $5.99 price range in ready to-wear would be the next best use of time. The use of' one’s time in making a house dress is very doubtful, at a saving of 61c when made in two hours, except as a means of learning to use patterns and equipment, and to gain skills which can be used on better dresses and perhaps tailored garments.
