Fire Companies were busy in the county last week.
The Sperryville Co. was called to the home of John VVayland Sunday when a car caught fire, and ot the home of Rodes Brown on Monday when a brush fire be-, hind his' home got out of control and Tuesday they were called to Nethers Mill about 7 or 8 acrfe fo brush was on fire.
Sunday night the Washington Co. with quick wark saved the home of Mrs. Nannie Starks when the chemney and roof caught on fire.
Th eAmissville Co. answered a call to the home of Alvin Grigsby, Sunday when a chimney caught on fire.
