Under the guidance of extension workers and local leaders I have become interested in home making and community life. Through 4-H my standards of living have improved. Therefore 1 have better intelligent understanding and appreciation of nature and the enviroment in which I live. I have learned by doing, which has given me a sence of responsibility. I have developed better habits of more helpful living. Briefly the 4-H •member lives up to the 4-H pledge; 1 pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, my hands to larger service, my health to hetliving, for my club, my community and my county. .
