What 4-H Means To
My Family
Record Books! Demonstrations! Project Work! 4-H is driving me crazy! What am I saying? What would become of my family if my two daughters ' and son weren’t 4-H’ers? , Dishes to do, house to clean, baking to do, meas to prepare for a family of nine, laundry a mile hi^h, poultry houses to clean, baby chicks to feed and water. These are the chores which have to be done at my house each day.
When you work away from home and time is the item you have less of than anything, the jhing which I appreciate the most is knowing Jean and Judy can and will cook, clean house and keep things rolling in general. Tommy took chickens last year as his pro. ject so now he knows how to tend to the poultry house on his own.
I wish all mothers knew as I do, how much 4.H benefits our children. Oh, sure we had to be
