Arc vou interested in having a tournament in Raopahannock Countv this summer? Not too many vears ago this was one of the County’s main social and sporting events. If you are interested in reviving this custom, and vou and your horse have not lost vour vim and vigor, be sure to come to the meeting at the Court House Monday night. April 1st at 8 o’clock.
The Jamestown Festival Committee has tenative plans for such an event if enough interested can be generated among those qualified to participate in such a colorful activity.
If you are not qualified to ride, perhaps you will be interested in helping with the many details enjoyed in staging such a gay and exciting celebration.
Don’t forget the meeting on April 1st. It depends on your support of lack of it whether or not this custom will be revived. The committee asks for your support.
