Truck Accident
Dr. Thomas E. Hughes, was killed Tused ay, April 2 when a fractorrtrailer loaded with 4(H) bags of cement collided with his pick up trufk on Route 55, a mile east of Markham, Va.
The tractor-trailer driven by Austin Moneymaker of Alexandria, Va., dumped it’s load on Dr. Hughes who had been thrown from his truck.
Dr, Hughes was born and reared at Laurel Hill, near Laurel Mills, Va. and has many relatives and friends in Rappahannock.
