Mr. and Mrs. M. H. Brady visited Miss Ann Brady in Winchester Memorial hospital where she was a patient, Saturday. She is a student nurse there also.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Carpenter and children of Alexandria came to Washington to see Tommy Carpenter in the Senior play.
Many of the members of the Flint Hill school 4-H club took part in a variety show at the school Friday afternoon. Miss Ginger Russell, President of the club led the group in repeating the pledge and motto, after which the chorus sang America. Those in the chorus were’ Charlotte Ann Moore, Ginger Russell, Ruth Frazier, Annie Frazier, Tommy Lillard, Joan Hickerson, Jackie Chadwell. Marlyn Sutphin, Harrison Powers and Louis Miller. Judy Lillard accompanied the song, and also played incidental music between the acts.
Jackie Chadwell, Marlyn Sutphin, Annie Frazier and Harrison told the meaning of the 4-H’s in a drill and Louie Miller received ah ovation of applause for his pantoininv* of FI vis Presley singing Houn’ Dog. Dorothy Moore played a piano solo, Waltz, followed by a skit, “Was His Face Red” featuring Louie Miller who tried to sell a vaecum cleaner to house wife, Annie Frazier, who had no electricity.
