Distric|t Contest Rappahannock. 4-H’ers won first place over twelve other teams in the Northern Virginia District Livestock liidging Contest held at Verona List Saturday. The team is coached l y our part time assistant County |Agent, Rapley Owings.

| • jj The combined score of our three high team members was 1217 points, twtnW points above that of the second place, Augusta county team. Our Cam consists of Jimmy Yates, jack Sisk, Glenn and Randall Upilike.

Randall tiffi for high individual honors with Hines of the Augusta team with 4^4 points out of ^ possible 450. G|<mn was second i with a total of 409 points

Each team judged: two classes of registered Angus heifers; one class of breeding ewes. Boys are scored not oily on their placing of the four i ijiimals in each class but in addition on their verbal reasons.
