Presents Plays
A night of fun is promised by the 4-H Nnght Cub of Hint Hill when the two, one-act plays are given, “Wilbur Takes His’ Medicine’’ and “The Comical Country Cousins”.
Music for the evening will be supplied by Mrs. John Derting, and the Night Club Rhythm Heirs, a minstrel troup.
Tickets will beonsaleThursday, April 25th. They may be purchased- from any member of the finance committee, including Eleanor Atkins, Randall l.’pdike, Eddie Sutphin and Mike Vest, or bought at the door.
Mrs. G. W Powers and Mrs. W. A. Gentry helped to conduct the food sale for the Home. Demonstration market committee. Saturday at Washington. It was a successful sale, netting enough money to pay Initial expenses for the market day, May 30. Much interest was shown and a request was made for someone to make of rebottom “Old Time” chairs for the market. Crochet hooks are flying on a number of attractive gifts ,as well as needles and other tools.
Mr. and Mrs. John Derting and children visited their parents in Tennessee and Hiltons, Va for the weekend.
Suday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Foster were Mr. and Mrs. George Miller and children of College Park, Md.
