Mrs. R. L. Cheatham and son, Bucksie, who are in Williamsburg for the school term, were at Mountain Green for the weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. L. V. Merrill were in Washington, D. C. on Sunday to attend the wedding of Miss Barbara Lee Carrico to Mr. Jarries Luther Pitts. The wedding took place at the Washington Bible College where Miss Carrico received her Degree, Friday evening. Mr. Pitts is a minister and after a year’s work here Mr. and Mrs. Pitts will enter the Foreign .Mission Field. They expect to be sent to Africa.
