Mrs. Chris Schaefer, who has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Beard at Remington, has returned to her home here. Mrs. Mary Clater, who is staying with Mrs. Schaefer has also returned from a visit in Calverton with her son and adughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Clater.
Mr. and Mrs. Lester Yates and daughters, Janet and Lois and Mrs. C. W. Miller were in Front Royal Sunday to attend the union meeting at the Happy Creek Primitive Baptist Church.

Joey Durden, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Durden, celebrated his Vh ’birrhdav on Sunday with a small group invited for refreshments and games.

Buddy Aylor of Arlington spent the weekend with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor. Additional guests on Sunday in the Aylor home were Miss Joan Aylor, Michael Caldino of Washington, D. C., Mr. and Mrs. John P. Lowery and Mrs. Bessie Jenkins of Winchester.
