Wednesday, April 8, a few mile* east of Amissville 150 tc 200 acres of woodland were burned by a. fire of undisclosed origin.
Fire companies from AmissvilTej. Flint •Hill, Warrenton and Castleton fought the blaze all day ancF into the night. A State Forester ifrom Charlottesville, brought a Caterpillar tractor and plow and Herbert Foster of Flint Hill assisted with an orchard spray truck.
The fire started in the vicinity of the Irving Morris place and theta mi formerly owned by Hunsakers and burned over acreage belonging to Mr. Stein, Sam Strick, ler, and Puller Hughes,
One person was arrested in connection with the fire when he refused to cooprate.

BREAKS ARM \
Eldridge Grigsby, Jr., a student at Amissville Elementary Schoot, fell while playing last Week at school, breaking both bones tri his lower lejft arm just above the wrist. He was given first aid and then taken to Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton where his arm was x-rayed and the bones set. , ^Eldridge is recovering splendidly and has not had tc miss any time from school.
